Ehoumaki
People believe that they'll get good luck if they can eat a whole sushi roll without making any noise facing toward the east-northeast, which is believed to be the lucky direction for the year.
I couldn't provide a whole Ehoumaki for my son because the small lunch box of my son does not have a space for the whole Ehoumaki!!! However, my children may be get good luck even if it was not whole. Because they ate up everything of the Ehoumaki (egg roll, sautéed carrot, boiled spinach, sautéed pork) which I provided to them 3 slices each. (^o^)
